The Scorch Trials ( MOVIE TALK = Spoilers from both the Movie and the Book)

You read it right! Yesterday I  went to watch the one and only Maze Runner: Scorch Trials!

It was a really good movie and that shocked me. I mean, when I watched the trailer I noticed that they changed a lot ( When I say a LOT I mean a LOT ) of the plot.

So, I kind a expected it to be a flop since Paper Towns was kinda a FLOP too.

                                                  Image result for paper towns

But, Dylan O' Brien was acting. So, WHAT THE HECK!

MY REVIEW   (SPOILERS)

1. The Mazes

In the books there are only 2 mazes and when they split up in the Scorch there is Team A and Team B. But, in the movie there are more than 5. I don't think it bothers me much but it kinda makes the mazes I don't know... less special.

2. Jorje and Brenda (and the Right Arm)

In the Book Jorje and Brenda are with a bunch of Cranks that ambush them when they come out of the storm into a glass building. Brenda's supposed to be blonde. Jorje and Brenda are supposed supposed to be munies from W.I.C.K.E.D. that are sent to the Scorch as part of the gladers trial.  In the movie their a two people who are searching for the Right Arm ( this isn't even introduced till the 3rd book ) and use the gladers as a way in. Brenda gets bitten and she almost becomes a crank. Ava Paige is supposed to be helping the gladers and Janson is supposed to be the one that still wants brain samples. (SPOILER FROM 3rd book)  Continuing, In the book there is no such thing as a cure and also you can catch the flare just by standing next to a person that has it.

3.  Teresa

In the book once their taken away from the glade their given Pizza and allowed to stay in a house of sorts. One morning Teresa's gone and replaced with Aris. She's actually joined Group B or else they would kill Thomas. Then she's actually good in the third book and she doesn't get her memories till the third book too. So, coming to Teresa's defense she isn't really that bad in the book.

4. Minho

I think whoever watched the movie knows what I'm talking bout. When they were in the building and Minho was like "You know those people who got left behind, I don't wanna be like them." I was like cool, where's my fight scene then when he was being taken away I was crying ( literally ) and when Thomas was like I made a promise to Minho that I wouldn't leave him behind, it all clicked into place and then I started crying again.

5. Winston

In the book Winston dies in the tunnel after having his face chewed off by a grey, hot (as in burning your face off kinda hot) metal thingy, eh, it happens. But, I cried for him in the movie, he's the first one to get bitten in the movie and he drops and says "I won't make it don't let me become one of them and Newt :) ( I had to I love Newt) gives him the gun and as their walking away they hear the gun go off and all of them stop and they have small spaces between them and their standing in a line and their on a sandy ledge and it's beautiful.

6. Their Escape?

In the book they are forced to go into the scorch because they've been given the flare and are supposed to reach the safe haven to get the cure. But in the movie they escape from their brain getting harvested. So there is a big difference .

All in all even though they changed a lot it's still an awesome movie and they pretty much set everything up for the  next movie, so good job.
